North Dakota Industrial Commission selects North Dakota native for director of Department of Mineral Resources

(Bismarck, ND) — A decision has been made in the hiring of a new executive director of the Department of Mineral Resources.

The North Dakota Industrial Commission announced the selection of Nathan Anderson on Tuesday. The commission says the role Anderson is assuming is critical for the state as it fosters the growth of the industry responsible for nearly 64-percent of the state’s revenues.

The commissioner say Anderson’s background and understanding of the complete life cycle of an oil and gas asset makes him well-positioned to serve the DMR.
