ND GOP Rep. pleads guilty to DUI charge

GRAND FORKS, ND — Republican Grand Forks Representative Claire Cory has pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of reckless driving following her DUI arrest earlier this year.

She was pulled over by Grand Forks Police in May, and a breathalyzer test revealed that her blood alcohol content was twice the legal limit. Cory was given a suspended 12-day jail sentence.

Cory also required to pay a $901 fine and submit a chemical dependency evaluation to the court.
