BISMARCK, ND — North Dakota’s Secretary of State says his office has taken a proactive approach to ensure the security of elections in the state.
Michael Howe said this week that North Dakota uses strictly paper ballots. Whether voters use the touchscreen or a tradition fill-in ballot both produce a paper ballot that is tabulated. Howe says the primary elections went smoothly which is a good sign given the general election is just weeks away.
Voters can access a ballot and become familiar with it by clicking here.
