(HETTINGER, ND) – The Adams County Sheriff’s Office says it assisted Immigrations Customs Enforcement on apprehending an illegal.
The Sheriff’s Office says Jose Romero was in the country illegally and residing in the city of Hettinger. He has made multiple illegal entries into the county, the sheriff’s office said. In October 2024, Romero was arrested by the sheriff’s office on felony domestic violence serious bodily injury and misdemeanor domestic violence bodily injury.
According to the sheriff’s office, Romero is in the custody of the U.S. government on a federal warrant.
