Motorcyclist flown to Fargo after serious injury crash near Jamestown

JAMESTOWN, ND — A Jamestown man was hurt in motorcycle crash in Ransom County yesterday afternoon.

63-year old Monte Rodacker was part of a group of about 300 motorcycles taking part in a 9/11 tribute run. Troopers say a group of cycles, including a trike-style motorcycle, passed him at a high rate of speed and braked as they came to a curve in the road. Rodacker was forced to hit his brake to avoid them. He was then thrown from his cycle. Rodaker suffered serious injuries and was air-lifted to Sanford in Fargo.

Anyone who saw the crash, or may have information on who was operating the trike, is asked to call the State Patrol.
