(St. Paul, MN) — The Minnesota State Fair has set a new attendance record, with 225-thousand-521 visitors on Friday, August 30, 2024, surpassing the previous record for the second Friday of the fair.
This achievement is part of a banner year for the event, which has already broken attendance records on several other days. Despite some low-turnout days due to severe weather, the fair is on track to surpass its 2019 record of over two-point-one million visitors by the end of its 12-day run.
