Minnesota legislators to convene beginning next Monday

(ST PAUL, MINN) – The Minnesota Legislature is set to convene later this month.

Meeting on an annual schedule, the legislature will convene on Monday, January 14. According to Minnesota Statute 3.011, the legislature meets beginning on the first Tuesday after the second Monday in January of each odd-numbered year, or when called by the governor to meet in special session.

Local leaders of the Minnesota Legislature include Senate Minority Leader Mark Johnson (R-East Grand Forks) and Assistant Senate Minority Leader Jordan Rasmusson (R-Fergus Falls).
