Marijuana ballot petition organizers to submit signatures Monday

(Bismarck, ND) — The push to get marijuana legalized in North Dakota is moving forward.

The group behind the effort says it will submit signatures at the state capitol on Monday. Over 15 thousand signatures are needed to get the question on the November ballot. If approved it would allow adults 21 and over to possess controlled amounts of marijuana in its various forms.

State voters previously rejected legalizing marijuana twice.
