Man drives into Fargo church; arrested for DUI, reckless driving

(FARGO, ND) – Fargo Police say a 32-year-old Bismarck man ran into a church in south Fargo. The crash happened just after 9 p.m. Friday in the 3600 block of 25th Street South. Aaron Hipolito-Marquez was reportedly driving his vehicle at a high rate of speed when he lost control, causing the vehicle to leave the roadway and crash into the church. He was the lone occupant of the vehicle, and was transported to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries. The church sustained structural damage, and the Fargo Fire Department responded to provide stability to the building. Hipolito-Marquez was cited for DUI and reckless driving.
