SAINT PAUL, Minn. – Caucus leaders in the Minnesota House seem less optimistic about ending their boycott and getting back to work.
Republican House leader Lisa Demuth says she didn’t meet with DFL leader Melissa Hortman Wednesday and has no immediate plans to do so.
DFL lawmakers have boycotted the chamber since the start of the session preventing the House from considering bills.
Republicans have a one seat advantage in the House, but that is expected to change when a special election is held for an open seat in Roseville.
