UPDATE: East Grand Forks Police say the incident on the Kennedy Bridge has been resolved and the bridge has reopened.
ORIGINAL STORY: (GRAND FORKS, ND/EAST GRAND FORKS, MINN) — First responders and law enforcement from Grand Forks and East Grand Forks are on the scene of an incident on the Kennedy Bridge. On their Facebook page, East Grand Forks Police are asking people to avoid walking or driving in the area of the Kennedy Bridge until further notice, saying, “We have an emergency situation in progress and need people to stay away for their own safety.“
