(DICKINSON) – The Acting President of Dickinson State University will continue in his role following a decision Tuesday to not appoint an interim President at the University. Four finalists had been brought to the State Board of Higher Education at its meeting Tuesday, but the board decided to not select an interim president – instead, the board extended Ty Orton’s term for 30 more days. The search for a leader at Dickinson State University comes after President Steve Easton’s resignation in August.
