(GRAND FORKS, ND) – A Grand Forks man is facing charges after being accused of raping a 12-year-old.
Jayden Perales was 17 at the time of the alleged crime, but has since turned 18, according to court documents. He allegedly forced sexual intercourse in May 2024 for the 12-year-old. The juvenile victim went to the hospital for further examination.
Perales says he and a friend were the only ones at the home at the time of the alleged rape. State lab reports stated that fluids found on an article of clothing belonging to the juvenile matched ‘the known profile of Jayden Perales.’
Perales faces two Class AA felonies – both of Gross Sexual Imposition.
