(Minneapolis, MN) — The Republican Party appears to be targeting the Minnesota Freedom Fund as they criticize presidential candidate Kamala Harris’s position on crime.
Minnesota Trump campaign chair Congressman Tom Emmer posted on X that the vice president once backed a bail fund for Minnesota criminals who should have stayed behind bars.
He added that one convict that she helped to release from prison killed a man.
After George Floyd’s murder, Harris urged her followers to help arrested protestors by donating to the Minnesota Freedom Fund.
The Minneapolis nonprofit pays criminal and immigration bonds for people in Twin Cities jails and detention facilities.
