(EUCLID, MINN) – A garage has been destroyed in a weekend fire in Euclid, Minn.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office says the fire is believed to have originated with a wood stove located in the attached garage. When deputies arrived on scene, the garage was fully engulfed with flames, and the fire began spreading to an attached house.
Responding firefighters were able to extinguish the fire.
Nobody was home at the time of the fire. The Minnesota State Fire Marshal was notified.
Three fire departments – Crookston, Warren and Red Lake Falls – responded, along with two ambulance services – Crookston Area Ambulance and Warren Ambulance.
