(FOXHOME, MINN) – A Monday afternoon severe weather threat brought a severe storm to rural Wilkin County.
The National Weather Service office in Grand Forks says a report of a funnel cloud near Foxhome, Minn., was received at around 3:15 p.m.
Heavy rainfall fell across the region, according to the North Dakota Agriculture Weather Network. A network station west of Jamestown recorded just over two inches of rain. A report was received from near Galesburg, in Traill County, where 1.68 inches of rain fell Monday.
Heavier rainfall amounts fell in northwestern South Dakota and extreme northeastern Minnesota.
