(MINNESOTA) – A former District Director for the 2024 Trump campaign is the Republican candidate vying for a seat in Minnesota’s State Senate.
Keri Heintzman won the Republican primary for the seat and will take on the lone DFL candidate, Denise Slipy. Heintzman is no stranger to the Republican Party, having served as the District Director for President Donald J. Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign.
Heintzman beat out eight other candidates vying for the Republican nod for the seat, which was vacated by the resignation of Justin Eichorn, who has been charged with attempting to solicit a teen girl for sex.
The special election is April 29.
