Former gubernatorial candidate Scott Jensen says suit against Board of Medical Practice was dismissed in federal court

(WATERTOWN, MINN) – Former Minnesota gubernatorial candidate and family practice physician Dr. Scott Jensen says his federal lawsuit against the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice has been dismissed.

“This lawsuit has never been about one person,” Dr. Jensen said in a statement released to Flag Family News. “It’s about all of us and our right to free speech.  If it can happen to me, why couldn’t it happen to anyone?”

James Dickey, Upper Midwest Law Center (UMLC) Senior Counsel, says the UMLC ‘respectfully’ disagrees with the court.

“Dr. Jensen will appeal, and he will win,” Dickey said in a statement obtained by Flag Family News.

In our previous reporting on Jensen’s case, Jensen says his First Amendment rights of free speech were violated after he was investigated for questioning the effectiveness of the COVID vaccine and says if physicians are denied their First Amendment rights to speak in opposition to “conventional narrative, you would lose the dynamic vitality of medical discussions that really pave the way for scientific advancement.”
