(PONSFORD) – The Becker County Sheriff’s Office says it received a report of a possible credible school shooting late Thursday night. The shooting indicated it would take place at the Pine Point School in the area of Ponsford, Minn. School officials canceled classes Friday out of an abundance of caution. The Becker County Sheriff’s Office investigated the complaint and took a 13-year-old female into custody on a charge of threats of violence for the statements made. The initial investigation showed there was no indication of imminent danger to the school, staff or students.
