(EAST GRAND FORKS, MINN) – Voters in East Grand Forks, Minn., will be deciding on a pair of special questions in addition to other ballot questions. The City of East Grand Forks is asking voters to approve a sales and use tax to finance the reconstruction and remodel of, along with upgrades and additions to the East Grand Forks Civic Center complex. They’re also asking voters to approve a sales and use tax for the same type of project at the VFW Memorial Arena. If both pass, a total of a one percent sales tax increase will be in place for up to 20 years.
