Driver identified in fatal crash near McClusky

(MCCLUSKY, ND) – The North Dakota Highway Patrol has identified the victim of a fatal crash Friday morning west of McClusky, in Sheridan County.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, 59-year-old Russel Gress, of Center, was eastbound on Highway 200 in his 2012 Ford Expedition when he ran the vehicle off the roadway and into the south ditch. The vehicle then struck an embankment in the ditch before coming to rest.

Gress was pronounced dead at the scene.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol continues investigating the fatal crash.
