(Washington, DC) — At least 22 Minnesota counties will receive federal aid to help repair damage caused by recent flooding.
President Biden approved a disaster declaration for the state on Friday.
The money will help local governments replace infrastructure and offer aid to offset environmental damage caused by the flooding.
State officials say more counties could be added to the existing disaster declaration as damage estimates are completed.
