(THIEF RIVER FALLS, MINN) – Arctic Cat has announced workforce reductions across the company.
In a letter to dealers on Wednesday, the Thief River Falls, Minn., based company says the workforce reductions are ‘in response to difficult business conditions facing Arctic Cat and the greater powersports industry.’
The company is eliminating positions across the company, along with pausing production at the Thief River Falls facility upon completion of the production of the model-year 2025 snowmobile lineup. The company hopes to resume production in the first quarter of 2025.
“These actions were tough but necessary given the current conditions in our industry,” Vice President and General Manager of Arctic Cat Powersports Philip Jhant said in a letter to dealers.
There is no word on the exact number of employees affected by the elimination.
