(Grand Forks, ND) -- A suspect in a cold case murder in Minneapolis has been arrested in Grand Forks.
Investigators say a 26-year-old man was shot to death in his vehicle on Halloween night of 2013. Authorities used surveillance video to identify Suleiman Abdulkadir Ali as a suspect in the shooting, but learned he had fled the country, likely to Somalia. However, he was living in Fargo and was arrested over the weekend in Grand Forks after investigators reportedly linked him to the crime scene with DNA evidence.
Ali faces a second-degree murder charge.
