(Minneapolis, MN) — A Hennepin County judge is approving a defense motion to subpoena an independent use-of-force expert in the murder case against a Minnesota state trooper.
Justice Tamara Glenn ruled that Trooper Ryan Londregan’s lawyers made a credible argument that Jeffrey Noble should be allowed to testify.
Trooper Londregan is charged with second-degree murder, manslaughter, and assault after he shot and killed Ricky Cobb the Second during a traffic stop last summer.
The next court date is April 29.
