276 DWI arrests in Minnesota last weekend

MINNESOTA – An ongoing crackdown on drunk driving is keeping Minnesota troopers busy during the holiday season.

The State Patrol says troopers made 276 DWI arrests statewide last weekend. It includes a case in St. Cloud where the same driver was stopped for DWI two days in a row. Another arrest in the Virginia area involved a woman driving five kids home from a basketball game.

The State Patrol called the arrests a “sobering reminder to never get behind the wheel while impaired.”
