If your absentee ballot is not in the mail, you are able to turn it in to your county courthouse. If you would like to vote but do not have a valid form of I.D., North Dakota voters have the opportunity to fill out a set-aside ballot on election day which is only counted once a valid form of I.D. is presented. The deadline for a set-aside ballot to be approved is until the certification is complete, which is typically done within 13 days of the General Election.
