(WASHINGTON, DC) – A pair of high-profile Minnesota officials, along with officials from the United States Department of Agriculture, have been subpoenaed in relation to the Feeding Our Future fraud scheme.
Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Department of Education Commissioner Willie Jett, along with USDA Secretary Tom Vilsack and its Inspector General, Phyllis Fong, were subpoenaed by the House Education and Workforce Committee chairwoman, Rep. Virginia Foxx, R-North Carolina.
They’ve been subpoenaed requesting additional documents regarding the mismanagement of funds.
