WASHINGTON, D.C. — The first and only vice presidential debate is tonight.
Ohio Senator JD Vance and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz will faceoff after weeks of preparation. They’ll take the stage with a backdrop of a number of crisis happening at home and abroad. They include ongoing relief efforts in the Southeast after the devastating impact of Hurricane Helene and dockworkers on he East and Gulf Coasts going on strike earlier today. Overseas, tensions in the Middle East continue to rise following Iran’s missile attack on Israel.
