Trump pleads not guilty after being recharged in 2020 Election interference case

WASHINGTON D.C. — Former President Trump is pleading not guilty to interfering in the 2020 presidential election.

Special Counsel Jack Smith filed a revised indictment last week after the Supreme Court ruled that former presidents have some immunity for their actions while in office. On Tuesday, Trump’s legal team pleaded not guilty on his behalf.
