Fedorchak joins Fox and Friends, touts extension of Tax Cuts and Jobs Act

(WASHINGTON, DC) – North Dakota Congresswoman Julie Fedorchak is talking about the importance of extending – permanently – the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, and how it will be done.

“We’re going to pass this historic tax measure, and in order to do that, we will make the changes necessary in our government spending,” Fedorchak said on Fox News Channel’s Fox and Friends earlier this week.

There are various ways that House Republicans are looking at the work.

“We will be looking through all of the various committees through the House—I’m on the Energy Commerce Committee, and we’re tasked with finding about $880 billion worth of savings,” she said. “And then [we’re] looking at reforming programs to make them more affordable and at the same time, more sustainable, for American people.”

Fedorchak says there’s a spending problem – not a revenue problem.

“We’re looking to try to reduce spending, reduce cost, and pass the historic tax reform and extend the tax cuts that have been in existence for the last eight years,” she said.
