Burgum on Fox and Friends visit, VP possibility

(WEST FARGO) – North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum has brought a lot of national media attention to his home state, and on Monday, the focus turned to a diner in West Fargo.

Fox and Friends’ Brian Kilmeade spent time Monday at Randy’s Diner, Too. But before spending time in the metro, the Fox and Friends talent spent time in Burgum’s hometown, Arthur.

It was there where Kilmeade found himself on a horse.

But the focus of the national media visit Monday morning is Burgum being considered as a Vice Presidential candidate under Donald J. Trump.

“It’s an honor to be considered,” Burgum told The Flag’s Need to Know Morning Show. “But I think the best thing, as part of what my current job is, as Governor of North Dakota, is the fact that we’re being considered is a reflection on this whole state.”

He said “all the things that matter to the country right now are happening in North Dakota.”

“I think it’s great that President Trump is understanding that.”

Burgum said Trump is focused on election security, and making sure the November election is secure.
