Armstrong officially resigns from U.S. House

(WASHINGTON, DC) – Congressman Kelly Armstrong has officially submitted his resignation.

In a post on X this morning, a photograph of the resignation letter, written to U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson, was posted.

“I hereby submit my resignation, effective at 11:59 p.m. December 14, 2024, as Untied States Representative for the At-Large District of North Dakota,” Armstrong wrote in the typed portion of the letter.

In a hand-written note, Armstrong says, “It’s been an honor. Time to go home.”

Armstrong is the Governor-Elect of North Dakota, and is set to take office officially tomorrow.
