Work begins on I-94 in Moorhead, 45th Street in Fargo

FARGO-MOORHEAD – Expect lane closures on Interstate 94 westbound near the Red River Bridge in Moorhead.

The right lane will be closed overnight and the 8th Street ramp will be reduced by one lane.

The closures are part of an overhaul to extend the lifespan of the bridge, as well as improve traffic flow and safety.  Traffic impacts can be expected throughout the summer with the project expected to wrap up in October.

The northbound lanes of 45th Street South in Fargo have been reduced to one lane between 32nd Avenue South and I-94.

Crews are working on phase one of the 45th Street South Concrete Spot Repair Project. After that, crews will reduce southbound lanes to one lane in the same area.

Local business signs will be in place directing vehicles around any closures throughout the duration of this project.

Work is expected to be completed by mid-July.
