LISBON, N.D. – An Oakes woman pleads guilty for her role in a deadly Ransom County crash.
Amber Patel was charged with the death of Fort Ransom Arena Association Founder Jerry Rufsvold after causing a chain reaction crash last August. The 38-year-old admitted to being under the influence of eight prescription medications.
Patel faces three to 20 years in prison.
