CASS COUNTY, ND — There’s a spike in whooping cough cases in Cass County.
Fargo Cass Public Health says of the 41 cases this year, 15 of them have occurred among children since the start of the school year.
The highly contagious respiratory illness, also known as pertussis, spreads from person to person through the air.
