West Fargo Police respond to early morning stabbing

(WEST FARGO) – At approximately 3:36 a.m. Monday, the West Fargo Police Department responded to the 1400 block of 12th Street W. for report of a medical emergency.

Upon arrival, officers observed a male victim had been stabbed in the chest with a knife. Officers performed life-saving measures; however, the male was declared deceased on the scene. The name of the victim is being withheld pending next of kin notification.

The West Fargo Police Department is actively investigating this incident, including interviewing several persons of interest. There is no indication of any active threat to the public.
