Wealthy Minnesotans spend big in the presidential race

MINNESOTA – Wealthy Minnesotans are spending plenty of money on the campaigns of former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris.

State donors have paid $24 million to joint fundraising committees, PACs, and principal campaign committees for Harris and $7 million dollars to Trump committees and PACs.

The Pohlads, who own the Twins, had the largest impact on the Harris campaign with a donation of more than two million dollars.

Top GOP contributors include Coldspring Granite CEO Patrick Alexander and My Pillow CEO Mike Lindell.
