Voters pass sales tax increase for community center in Dilworth

DILWORTH, Minn. – Voters in Dilworth have approved a half percent increase in the city’s sales tax for 25 years for a $7.2 million community center.

1,635 voters approved the ballot measure and 634 opposed it.

The building will go up east of the rail district. The group Dilworth On Track says the city is in active talks with a healthcare provider that’s considering building a clinic near the community center.
