Two juveniles injured in crash in rural West Fargo

(RURAL WEST FARGO, ND) – Two juveniles suffered injuries in a crash in rural West Fargo Saturday night.

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says it, along with the West Fargo Police Department and other responders, responded to a crash near 26th Street West and 40th Avenue West just after 9 p.m. When responders arrived on scene, a vehicle was seen rolled into the north ditch, with one occupant outside of the vehicle and another still inside. The occupant inside the vehicle was still breathing but unconscious, and was removed by emergency personnel.

A preliminary investigation revealed the juveniles were traveling through a field when the vehicle rolled after striking 40th Avenue West.

Both juveniles were transported to a local hospital. Alcohol may have been a factor in the crash, the Sheriff’s Office said.

The investigation is ongoing, and charges are anticipated in juvenile court.
