FARGO, ND — Charges against a man who allegedly stabbed a dog and threatened another with his own animal have been dropped, according to a search of court records.
According to the ND Courts Public Search system, the three terrorizing charges against Gerald Knorr have been dropped as of June 13th, 2024.
The charges were initially filed against Knorr in October of 2023, when authorities say they responded to a dispute involving a dog stabbing in a parking lot in the 4700 block of 13th Ave. S. Authorities arrived to find the stabbed dog and their family, along with Knorr and his dog. Witnesses spoke against Knorr at the scene, who claim to have heard him threaten the family of the stabbed dog multiple times.
In a separate incident, Knorr was the subject of another report after a call to the in a parking lot in the 4700 block of 13th Ave. S. Authorities say an argument broke out between Knorr and a customer of a nearby business, and ended when Knorr threatened to attack the customer with his dog. Knorr was subsequently arrested for terrorizing.
Fines against Knorr for the incidents were also dropped.
