FARGO, ND — A man accused of shooting Zion Brooks in June made his initial appearance in federal court today.
A Federal grand jury indicted the suspect, Amire Logan, on multiple charges. This includes two counts of Possession of Firearms and Ammunition by a Convicted Felon, two counts of Possession of Firearms and Ammunition by a Drug User or Addict, and one count of Possession of a Firearm with an Obliterated Serial Number.
Logan is allegedly tied to the shooting death of Zion Brooks in June of 2024. At the time, Logan was charged with two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm.
The indictment is not evidence of guilt. Logan is presumed innocent until proven guilty by a court of law.
