BISMARCK, N.D. – Bismarck-based Starion Bank partners with DoorDash to be the company’s sponsor bank.
This offers Dashers access to deposit accounts and debit cards through the Dasher app.
It’s part of DoorDash’s Crimson Program which brings financial services into the platform. Starion Bank says this option gives Dashers control over earnings, rewards and finances. DoorDash says the program including its financial services will roll out over the next few weeks.
“DoorDash’s decision to partner with Starion Bank highlights the capability of our financial infrastructure and systems,” said Rick Geloff, Starion Bank CFO/COO. “It reflects the trust placed in our ability to handle large-scale national operations while maintaining the local, community focus we are known for.”
Starion Bank says DoorDash is available in 7,000 cities across 50 states including Fargo, Bismarck, Grand Forks, Minot and Rugby.
