Senate votes on ovverride Governor’s veto on Senate Bill that provides tax credits for doing business with prison industry system

(BISMARCK, ND) – The North Dakota Senate has voted on an override of a Senate Bill’s veto by Governor Kelly Armstrong.

Last week, Armstrong vetoed Senate Bill 2261, which would provide businesses with tax credits after buying goods or services from prison industry programs such as Roughrider Industries.

The Senate voted 45-2. It now moves to the North Dakota House.
