WASHINGTON – The Senate votes 78-20 to end debate on former North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum’s Interior Secretary nomination.
Senator John Hoeven hopes to have the final vote on Burgum’s confirmation on Thursday or Friday.
“It’s a testament to his hard work getting around and visiting with people, but also the track record he brings to this job,” Hoeven said.
