Rides with Jay Thomas nominated for three Upper Midwest Emmy awards

(FARGO) – A local car television show, syndicated nationally through Telco Productions, has been nominated for three Emmy Awards. The show is available in 110 million homes nationwide.

Jay Thomas, host of the Jay Thomas Show on 970 AM/93.1 FM, WDAY Radio, announced on social media Friday afternoon that his TV show, Rides with Jay Thomas, has been nominated for three Emmys.

“It’s an honor to be recognized by the best in the TV industry,” Thomas said. “This would not happen without the unbelievable staff that makes this the biggest national show to come out of North Dakota happen.”

The three nominations are for magazine program, entertainment – long form content and historical/cultural/nostalgia – long form content.

Thomas said the show won an Emmy last year.

“Let’s see if we can bring all three home this October,” he said.

Rides with Jay Thomas airs in 113 Gray Media TV markets nationwide, plus all of the Telco syndicated markets, which equals 110 million homes across America, the United States Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.

Locally, the show can be at 10:30 p.m. Saturday nights on KXJB Channel 4 and Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. on Valley News Live. The new season starts Saturday, September 14, 2024.
