POLK COUNTY, Minn. – Crews responded to a Polk County fire on Christmas Eve.
At 12:30 PM the Crookston Fire Department responded to Lowell Township finding flames in an attached garage. Authorities say the garage has considerable damage and the house has smoke damage.
A person inside the home wasn’t hurt.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office says the fire is believed to have started in the chimney of a wood-burning stove.
