North Dakota has seen no change in levels of home ownership over the last four years according to County Health Rankings and TurboTax. However, there are 4,866 new home owners in the state despite the lack of overall growth. Some counties did experience growth. Benson grew by 7%, Pierce by 8%, and three counties had the highest home ownership growth at 9%, Slope, LaMoure, and Griggs. The county with the slowest growth was Steele at -8%.
