ND residents urged to check eligibility through inflated drug price case settlements

Bismarck, N.D. – North Dakota’s top prosecutor is telling people to check and see if they’re eligible for compensation linked to two legal settlements over inflated generic prescription drug prices.

Apotex and Heritage Pharmaceuticals were sued by Attorney General Drew Wrigley and others for inflating prices and limiting competition.

Wright says they are now seeing initial approval to begin the payout process to dole out the almost 50-million dollar total between the two settlements that was agreed to by the companies.

Those who bought drugs from either company during a 10-year period starting in 2009 could receive payments.

Specifically, the time frame covers drug purchases made between May 2009 and December 2019.
