MN woman charged with 11th DWI

CLOQUET, Minn. – A northern Minnesota woman could face up to seven years in prison after being stopped for driving while intoxicated in Carlton County.

Deputies arrested 61-year-old France Smith of Cloquet December 20th after finding a truck stopped at an intersection. Deputies say they found Smith’s license was revoked and she admitted to drinking beer and smoking marijuana.

Smith has been convicted on DWI-related charges 10 times. Her bail was set at $5,000 and she’s due back in court on January 13th.
